Milla Laitinen

The author and artist behind The Cursing Hedgehog is Milla Laitinen (former Paloniemi), born in 1983. She is a comic- and contemporary artist, graphic designer, illustator, comics teacher, poet, musician and a pony farmer. She lives in Finland, in Kouvola countryside Sippola.

Together with her husband Karri Laitinen Milla runs a Horse Art Center “Ponifarmi“. They also have their own company Halittu Kaaos Oy (Embraced Chaos) that provides art and thrill. 

Milla has been drawing comics and making her own comic magazines since early childhood. Her work has been published in magazines and advertisements since then. Milla´s biggest idol a comic artist Lena Furberg.

Milla studied graphic design in 2003-2007 and after that contemporary arts 2013-2016. She has been a full-time entrepeneur since 2006.

Milla´s comics and illustrations has been published in Finland over 40 books.
